Our Business

UNICORN Kitchenware, a subsidiary of The UNICORN Group, is a supplier of kitchenware, restaurant and hospitality products, tools and equipment. We provide a large range of commercial grade products, predominantly to clients in the cafe and restaurant industry. Notwithstanding this, we also cater for the domestic kitchen, and have a keen following from retail customers who look for high quality, durable kitchenware they know is used and trusted by industry professionals.

Established in January 2000 and expanded in August 2001, UNICORN Kitchenware moved from a small store on Victoria Street around the corner to larger premises in Shelley Street, Richmond. In early 2008, we opened a second store on Victoria Street, in Abbotsford. Our Shelley Street store closed in 2009, but re-opened in April 2010, and now sells not only kitchenware, but also an extensive range of grocery items, used particularly in Asian food preparation.

Our stores are open to both trade and the public. We strive to become a market leader in the provision of food service products and equipment in Victoria.

Products and Services

Our comprehensive range of products span from basic kitchen and tabletop essentials to industry specific items. We also specialise in Asian kitchenware, stocking an extensive selection of woks, claypots, hot plates, and mortar and pestles. We have also recently added grocery items to our stock range, from oil, rice, flour and sugar to sauces and pastes, and more. While our retail customers can be assured of highly competitive prices, clients from the hospitality industry can expect entitlements to special trade discounts through registration of your business with us. We also offer free delivery to customers within the metropolitan area (subject to a minimum purchase amount).
